Candle production process
2024-03-06 17:57The candle making process can be roughly divided into the following steps:
1. Prepare raw materials. Choose the appropriate wax (such as paraffin wax, soy wax, palm wax, beeswax, etc.), and add pigments and flavors as needed.
2. Melt the wax. Put the wax in a pot and heat it until it melts, usually between 58°C and 65°C.
3. Add auxiliary materials. Add the color and fragrance to the melted wax and mix well.
Pour into molds. Pour the wax solution into the prepared mold, making sure it is evenly distributed.
Install the burner wick. Before the wax solidifies, carefully fix the prepared wick in the center of the mold.
4. Wait for solidification. The wax will take some time to solidify, depending on the size of the candle and the ambient temperature.
5. Quality inspection. Check whether the shape, color, fragrance, etc. of the candle meet the requirements.
6. Packaging. Candles are sorted by size and color, then placed into appropriate boxes, labeled with relevant information, and packaged.
In addition, there are ways to make candles by hand, including rolling skewers, wrapping cotton thread, waxing, shaping and other steps. In modern production, some processes may use mechanized equipment to improve efficiency, such as wax melting machines and wax making molds
